  • 1kg minced beef
  • 2 whole eggs, lightly whisked
  • 1tbls Vegemite
  • 1/8 cup burger spice
  • 75ml lime juice
  • breadcumbs (for rolling)


  1. Thoroughly combine all ingredients, except breadcrumbs.
  2. Continue to combine for several minutes, or until proteins in the beef are well and truly worked through.
  3. Roll lightly in breadcrumbs.
  4. Shallow-fry / grill as desired.
